Labyrinth. 2017.

Jim Henson's Labyrinth is one of my favorite movies, so I chose to redesign the cover for a project in my Advanced Illustration class. I used pencil, watercolor, and some Photoshop magic to get the bright colors, capturing the feel of the film. I chose to focus in on my favorite character, Jareth the Goblin King, played by the great David Bowie, and if you look very closely at the bottom maze, you might be able to make out the subtle letters of the movie's title.
